Longboard Bushing Set — Double Barrel, Carving Formula

The Double Barrel bushing set is designed for riders who want a firm, supportive feel through the full range of truck lean — particularly suited to aggressive carving and downhill riding where predictable rebound and lateral stability matter. The tall barrel shape on both the road-side and board-side positions provides a consistent lean curve that resists sudden breakaway and returns the truck to center with a measured, controlled rebound.

The cone and double barrel combination delivers a progressive lean feel through the turn. As you lean into a carve, the bushings compress gradually rather than reaching a hard stop, which gives you a readable sense of how much lean you have available before the truck reaches its travel limit. This behavior is useful for riders who are developing their carving technique and want feedback from the truck geometry rather than surprises.

The high-rebound urethane formula is chosen for its energy return characteristics — the bushing compresses under load and pushes back with a consistent force that helps the truck return to center after each turn. This reduces the amount of active correction needed to maintain a straight line between carves, which is particularly noticeable during longer pumping runs or extended downhill sections.

Flat washers are included in the package. The washer interface affects how the bushing compresses — flat washers allow the urethane to deform more freely at the edges, which produces a slightly softer initial lean feel compared to cup washers. This setup is compatible with most standard reverse kingpin longboard trucks.

Available in three durometers matched to rider weight ranges: Soft (Orange) for lighter riders or those who prefer a more responsive lean, Medium (Purple) for mid-range weights and a balanced feel, and Hard (Yellow) for heavier riders or those who prefer a firmer, more stable setup.
