The insert barrel features a small step that fills the gap around the kingpin, which reduces lateral play in the truck pivot and keeps the bushing seated consistently under load. The gumdrop shape on the road-side provides a smooth, gradual transition between the barrel and cone feel, giving the truck a lean curve that changes character as you push deeper into the turn.
The high-rebound urethane formula returns the truck to center with a measured, consistent force after each turn. This rebound behavior is noticeable during pumping and carving, where the truck’s return speed affects how quickly you can initiate the next turn. The formula is tuned to provide rebound without feeling overly springy or unpredictable at the end of the lean range.
The rounded edge on the gumdrop improves the interface between the bushing and the washer, which reduces friction at the contact point and allows the bushing to compress and rebound more freely. This detail affects the feel of the truck at low lean angles, where the washer-bushing interface has the most influence on initial turn response.
Cup washers are included on both sides. The cup washer geometry constrains the bushing at the outer edge, which produces a firmer initial lean feel compared to flat washers and limits how far the urethane can deform outward under load.
